Nestled in the lush Caribbean jungle of Cahuita, Costa Rica, at the sacred Goddess Garden by the sea, this retreat is an invitation to soften, unravel, and return to your natural state of ease.
This immersive yoga retreat explores the ancient yogic teachings of the kleshas—the mental and emotional patterns that create suffering—and their antidote: aklesha living, a way of moving through life with clarity, freedom, and presence.
Each day blends intentional asana, breathwork, meditation, and guided inquiry, woven with the healing rhythms of the jungle and ocean. Practices are designed to help you recognize where attachment, resistance, ego, and fear subtly shape your choices—and how to release them without force or self-judgment.

THE CAHUITA COSTA RICA VIBES
Cahuita is located on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica.
We love this area because of the cool vibe and because the Caribbean Sea side of Costa Rica typically has far fewer tourists than the Pacific coast.
Cahuita is a fairly small town, it is the perfect place to spend a few relaxing days. With an Afro Caribbean vibe, delicious Caribbean cuisine, beautiful beaches, and an amazing national park.
Join us September 19-26 2026 for an unforgettable experience alongside a like-minded community.
We'll be staying at Goddess Garden Eco Resort, nestled where the rainforest meets the Caribbean Sea.
All reservations include nourishing meals, daily morning meditation, breathwork, and yoga asana. Dive deeper with movement practices, music, mantras and sacred cacao-medicine ceremonies. Ashtanga inspired workshops to explore the eight limb path, and embark on excursions to indigenous reserves to honor the richness of life, culture, and tradition.
This retreat promises an accessible and enriching experience for all.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19
Arrive to SJO airport and meet group between
10am- 1pm

SUNDAY, SEPT. 20- FRIDAY SEPT. 25

6:30 AM: Coffee, tea, Superfood Juices and Fruit

7:00-9:00 AM: Meditation + Breathwork with guided instruction + Morning Movement / Asana

9:30 AM: Fresh, local, organic community brekkie

10:30 AM: Workshop / Breathwork

1:30 PM: Lunch at Goddess Garden

3:00 PM: Free time, workshop OR scheduled tour, beach day, creative block, pool time, hiking, exploration, or additional optional activities....structure but also whatever you want, this is YOUR trip!

keli wriston
Keli began her yoga journey in 2010 seeking healing and peace. A life-changing Holistic Superfood Retreat sparked her passion for yoga, mindful movement, and earth-based wellness.
She deepens her practice annually in South India and as a RYT-500, holds certifications in Ashtanga Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and cacao ritual facilitation.
With a playful and supportive approach, Keli creates a safe space for growth, healing, and transformation, helping you reconnect to your truest nature!
how to get there?
The Goddess Garden Eco Retreat is located on The Caribbean Coast in Cahuita, a small town 25 miles south of Limon. San José International Airport (airport code SJO) is the closest international airport, approximately 4.5 hour drive from Cahuita.
Group Transportation to + from SJO airport is included with your reservation.
Shuttle will leave SJO airport at 2:00pm CDT 9/19
Shuttle will return to SJO airport by 2:00pm CDT 9/26
(this is a general time frame give or take and we will be sure to take into account delays and any unforeseen flight changes....no stress we got you!)

Many people choose to fly in a day early just to break up the trip and stayed an extra day in San Jose to rest or explore on your own.
We will have recommendations upon request.
Free shuttles run to and from various hotels close by the airport.
Early arrival to CR does not mean early transport to the retreat center.
Everyone will meet at the airport to catch the van to the retreat center. Everyone will meet outside at the airport cafe Malinche and will make sure ALL are safely on the van and headed to paradise!
